How we help:

Although our grants are often quite small, they frequently make a substantial difference to the person involved.  PAG is able to help in a number of ways, for example by giving:

  • a one-off monetary gift to assist with living expenses
  • a contribution towards essential household furniture including white goods
  • help to buy essential clothing
  • assistance towards the cost of essential repairs to the home that relate to safety, security and/or independent living in your home
  • a contribution towards care home fees  in partnership with other charities

We do not help with:

Unfortunately we are unable to help with the following;

  • private medical fees, including prescription charges
  • vet bills or pet insurance
  • clearing debts, including mortgage repayments and/or utility bills
  • bankruptcy fees
  • purchase of cars or other vehicles
  • funeral costs
  • setting up your own business
  • respite breaks
